Today, 22 January 2024 in the small hall of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic was held the presentation of diploma "Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic" to the leading neurosurgeon, academician of the Russian Federation, also Honorary Professor of I.K.Akhunbaev KSMA, Dr. Albert Sufyanov.

It should be noted that during 4 years in the Surgical Centre "Cortex", together with Academician, Dr. A. Sufyanov, 102 neurosurgical operations were performed. Sufyanov performed 102 neurosurgical operations, thanks to which innovations were introduced for the development of paediatric and adult neurosurgery in Kyrgyzstan, namely: endoscopic treatment of occlusive forms of hydrocephalus, endoscopic fenestration of brain cysts, carrying out operations under neurophysiological monitoring of functionally significant areas of the brain and spinal cord, improvement of skills in carrying out operations for malformations of the nervous system and bone structure of the head and back, improvement of skills in surgery of the osteoporosis, neurosurgery of the brain and spinal cord.

Interest in master classes in Kyrgyzstan to help heavy patients receive quality care without travelling abroad, while additionally improving the qualifications of doctors in Kyrgyzstan by taking part in operations.
