Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme popularly known as "ITEC" was launched in 1964 as a bilateral progamme of assistance of the Government of India.
ITEC offers a wide range of training programs, including medical directions. A full list of programs is available here.
How to apply?
Candidates can view the available courses and apply for participation in the ITEC training program by filling out the online application form and printing out the completed form. The completed form is signed by the university administration and sent to the Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan (Part II of the application form).
Candidates can later check the status of their application by logging in at www.itecgoi.in.Login credentials can be specified when filling out the form.
Who can apply:
- Officials in the government, public and private sectors, universities, chambers of Commerce, etc.
- Candidates must have sufficient work experience.
Selection criteria for admission to courses
- Academic qualification established by the Institute for the relevant course.
- Working knowledge of English required to complete the course.
- Age from 25 to 45 years.
- Good health (Part III of the application form is being filled in)
Basic information
- Applications must be submitted to the Embassy of India preferably 3 months before the start of the course.
- After selection, the Embassy of India will inform the central/designated department/agency of the candidate country.
- The selected candidates should fully familiarize themselves with the living conditions in India and about the Institute through the Institute's website.
- The decision regarding the acceptance of applications/nominations is made exclusively by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of India.
