TO the ATTENTION of students and residents of graduate courses, and teaching staff of KSMA!
The partner of KGMA, the Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA, is accepting applications for participation in the grant competition for master's degree studies at the Tokyo Medical and Dental University in the field of Universal Health Coverage
Duration of study: 2 years
Requirements for candidates:
(1) Current responsibilities: A candidate who is expected to contribute to the development and/or implementation of policies to address sustainable development issues related to public health.
(2) Nationality: Kyrgyz citizens
(3) Age: no more than 40 years (as of April 1, 2024)
(4) Education: holder of a Bachelor's degree (specialty) and/or higher
(5) Language: Sufficient knowledge of English at TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS: 6.5
(6) Physical presence: It is necessary to physically arrive in Japan to conduct research activities to complete this program.
(7) Other: Applicants should not receive or plan to receive another scholarship during the program.
Applicants must submit their application in accordance with the procedure described below.
Procedures and necessary documents for submitting an application:
Each applicant is required to submit “Application Documents” to the JICA overseas office responsible for the applicant's country.
Required documents for JICA:
1) JICA Application form for participation in the Joint Knowledge Creation program for long-term participants
2) A certificate of completion of training or confirmation that by the time of enrollment in TMSU, the current training will be completed
3) A photocopy of the certificate of passing the English language test
4) A copy of the passport with a photo
5) 2 identification photos (4 cm x 3 cm) pasted into the application form (original and copy)
The deadline for submitting applications to the JICA Kyrgyzstan office is February 29, 2024.
