A student of KSMA as part of the republic's team passed a training course in Germany

In early September of this year, a training organized by the Angels Initiative project team was held in Wiesbaden (Germany). More than 36 people from many countries of the world took part in the training.

Kyrgyzstan was represented by Egemberdieva Zhyldyz, head of the Department of Angioeducology of the Osh Interregional Clinical Hospital, Sultanova Meerim, a neurologist in the same department, and Omurbekov Sultanbek, a coach of the Department of Neurology of the Chui Regional United Hospital,a 6th-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics of the KSMA. The Kyrgyz team was nominated for participation by the head of the ESO-EAST Kyrgyzstan project - Inna Lutsenko. The Russian-speaking consultant for the project was Maria Koneva.

Participants were shown video simulations of emergency care for stroke patients, which were filmed in different clinical centers in Europe and Africa. In addition to all this, the doctors were introduced to the e-Aspects software, which automatically detects early ischemic injuries on a computed tomogram and performs an assessment on the Aspects scale.

The Kyrgyz team has gained invaluable experience and is on the verge of introducing new knowledge in the neurological departments of the republic.
