Today, on March 31, 2021, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev and the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Training of Doctors of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was signed by the rector of KSMU, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova and the rector of TASHIUV, Professor Habibulla Akilov, respectively.

It should be noted that the purpose of this memorandum is joint cooperation in one or more types of activities: educational activities in the field of continuing medical education, organization and training in a simulation center, joint preparation and publication of textbooks, scientific monographs, projects, academic mobility of teachers and researchers, exchange of information, know-how, participation in seminars and scientific conferences, as well as in international competitions, projects.

The Rector of KSMU also discussed with the representatives of the university and the head of the Department of "Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics", Professor Sunnatullo Gafforov, the next joint actions arising from the signed memorandum.

The discussion of the events was attended by the Head of the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry, Professor Abibilla Kalbayev and the head of the Department of International Relations of the KSMAA, Alice Yusupova.
