Today, October 16, 2019 at the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I.K. Akhunbaev, a meeting with a delegation of ten people from the education and culture system of the Republic of Tatarstan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic Rafis Timerkhanovich Burganov, took place. During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of higher medical education were discussed. Rector of KSMA, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova told the guests from Kazan about the international relations of the university.

So, the Medical Academy today has agreements with 15 universities of the Russian Federation, including the Kazan State Medical University and the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University. The Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress of cooperation between medical universities of the two countries, and spoke on the further expansion of mutually beneficial ties in the field of education and science. The meeting was attended by the pro-rectors of the KSMA, as well as the president of the public association of the Tatar-Bashkir center "Tugan Tel" of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan Gulsina Ulmaskulova.
