Recently, the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbaev, Professor Gulmira Dzhumalieva held a working meeting with representatives of the international project "Development of a master plan for capacity building of the “Nurse Training Department of KSMA". She spoke about the goals and plans of the university for the further promotion and development of the named department within the framework of the project.

The project partners of KSMA, in particular, the South Korean side took note of the vice-rector's statement and promised to inform about the results of the work done in the near future. Professor, expert O. Shil from Kyung-hee University presented the South Korean experience of teaching nurses with higher education to the participants of the meeting.
