DEAR TEACHERS AND EMPLOYEES, STUDENTS OF KSMA! I sincerely congratulate you on the New Year 2020 and wish you all success in your work and study, health and happiness! As you know, the outgoing year 2019 was a jubilee year for us. Our university is 80 years old. KSMA has passed the difficult path of formation with dignity and has a glorious history of training educated doctors, with their professionalism, meeting modern requirements. Our graduates are now successfully working both in Kyrgyzstan itself and in the countries of the near and far abroad. Today we are with dignity continuing the glorious traditions of the older generations of teachers and scientists, medical personnel. And this year is very eventful with significant events. In the spring, the traditional Days of Science took place, in which many foreign and domestic scientists took part, they made interesting reports. The university pays great attention to student Olympiads.

This year, for the first time, a student Olympiad in family medicine was held. Creative Olympiads are held at the Medical Academy in almost all subjects. The Medical Academy is actively developing international relations with leading medical universities in the CIS countries and far abroad. It has contracts, agreements and memorandums of cooperation with more than 100 partner universities. We are constantly working on the development of academic mobility programs for students and teachers. The academy annually organizes and conducts lectures and master classes by famous professors from foreign universities.

The main building, which was built in 1964, was restored to its historical appearance. A new conference hall with 500 seats is being built next to the main building, it will be a modern hall with a huge multimedia screen, and all the necessary equipment and technical rooms will be located nearby. The new complex will be connected by a spacious corridor with the main building of the academy. The museum of the university will be located in the same complex. In the past year, for the first time in KSMA, a student campus was opened, which is in the suburban village of Tash-Debe (Vorontsovka). There are 500 freshmen living there.

This is a whole town of classrooms, laboratories, lecture halls and dormitories. After the first year, students move to the city, since they need to study clinical disciplines, and new 500 foreign students will come to the campus, who will enter the new academic year and the first year will also live and study on the campus. In 2019, one of the stars of the Constellation of the Dragon was named after the KSMA and in the mountains of the Oruu-Sai area, which is 35 kilometers from Bishkek, the peak of the Medakademiya was established.
