Since March 23, 2021, the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev has been holding an action "Days of free blood Donation" among students of 1-6 courses, as well as employees.

After certain preparatory work, namely, examination of potential donors by a therapist, determination of hemoglobin, determination of the group and rhesus affiliation, testing of the donor's blood for signs of infections, direct blood donation is carried out.

To date, the KSMA has collected 30 liters of blood.

The "Days of free blood donation" will continue until March 26 this year. The action is organized by the Scientific Society of Young Scientists and Students of KSMU.
