Today, on October 22, 2018, the National Conference of Clinical residents on the topic "Family medicine –new accents and guidelines", dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Alma-Ata Declaration, was held at the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev. Its participants were welcomed by the Vice-rector of the KSMA, Professor A.Sopuev, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the academy  O. Salibayev, head of the project "Initiative in medical education" G. Orozalieva.

At the plenary session of the conference, several reports on family medicine were read. Then master classes were held for clinical residents, poster scientific reports were discussed and a discussion on the topic "Vaccination-truth and myths. The position of the family doctor".

It should be noted that this conference was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic, KSMA, the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training named after S. B. Daniyarov, public associations "Family Medicine without Borders" and "Initiative in Medical Education".
