Recently, assistants-prof. of the Department of Hospital Therapy with a course of Hematology Adilet Musakeev, Bermet Tagaeva, Dilfuza Atabaeva, Aigerim Zhanybek kyzy conducted a curators' session with supervised groups (39, 42, 46) of the 4th year of the Faculty of General Medicine with English Language of Instruction, dedicated to World AIDS Day.

During session they dwelt in detail on the current global (including in Kyrgyzstan) problems of HIV/AIDS, epidemiological situation, ways of transmission, as well as on the programs aimed at combating HIV infection. Measures to prevent HIV infection were discussed, as well as the problems of patients with HIV status, measures to combat stigmatization and violation of patients' rights. The aim of the curators' session was to raise students' awareness and literacy about HIV/AIDS!
