Training of graduate and doctoral students of KSMA is carried out in accordance with the current nomenclature specialties of scientists. Postgraduate studies at KSMA operate on a budgetary and non-budgetary basis on-the-job (full-time) and on-the-job (distance learning).
Candidates entering graduate school take entrance exams: in the specialty, the Kyrgyz language, a foreign language and philosophy.
Enrollment is made by order of the rector by decision of the competition commission, taking into account the results of the entrance exams of each applicant.
Education is conducted only in Russian, full-time (3 years of study) and part-time (4 years) on a budgetary and contractual basis.
For the demonstrated abilities in scientific activities, post-graduate students of the Academy have repeatedly become laureates of competitions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic for special state scholarships (scholarship of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and scholarship of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, presidential scholarship for studying abroad).
The relevance and significance of the ongoing scientific research is also confirmed by the fact that postgraduate students participate in the work of international scientific congresses and seminars.
Along with the Kyrgyz specialists, citizens of foreign states (Jordan, Pakistan, India, etc.) successfully carry out dissertation research in the academy's graduate school.
