HITRIplus School is pleased to announce a one-week international specialized online course on clinical aspects of research in the field of cancer therapy with heavy ions, which will be held from July 3-7, 2023 online at zoom, the link is available at https://indico.cern.ch/event/1248018/
Participation is free of charge and funded by the European Union Research and Innovation Program H2020 within the framework of the HITRIplus project https://www.hitriplus.eu/
This school will cover clinical aspects and is primarily intended for medical students specializing or planning to specialize in oncology, as well as clinicians of all levels in the field of radiation therapy and particle therapy. The course will be conducted by more than 35 of the world's leading clinicians in this field and will focus on the head and neck, sarcoma, prostate, liver, pancreas, gynecology and rare indications, repeated irradiation, innovative methods, organ movement, treatment planning, current and future clinical trials and radiobiology.
The class program starts at 08:30 Central European time; however, lectures will be recorded, so they will be immediately available to participants in different time zones.
