General information

Postgraduate and doctoral students of KSMA are trained in accordance with the current nomenclature of scientific specialties. Postgraduate studies at the KSMA operate on a budgetary and extrabudgetary basis, with a job (full-time) and on-the-job (distance learning).

Candidates entering postgraduate studies pass entrance exams in the specialty, foreign language and philosophy.

Enrollment is made by the order of the Rector according to the decision of the competitive commission taking into account the results of entrance examinations of each applicant.

Training is conducted only in Russian, in person (3-year study) and in absentia (4 years) on a budget and contract basis.

For their scientific abilities, graduate students of the Academy repeatedly became laureates of competitions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic for special state scholarships (scholarship of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and scholarship of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Presidential scholarship for study abroad).

The relevance and significance of the scientific research is confirmed by the fact that graduate students participate in the work of international scientific congresses and seminars.

Along with Kyrgyz specialists in the postgraduate studies of the academy, citizens of foreign countries (Jordan, Pakistan, India, etc.) successfully carry out dissertation research.
