International Cooperation

I.K. Akhunbaev KSMA actively develops international relations with leading medical universities of the CIS and far abroad countries and has agreements, agreements and memoranda of cooperation with more than 100 higher education institutions. The most active cooperation is with the universities of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Europe and South Korea through bilateral agreements and scientific and educational projects.

Active work is being done to develop academic mobility programs for students and teachers. Students of KSMA participate in international scientific and practical conferences, student Olympiads and festivals.

Students of KSMA have an opportunity to pass practical training at Erzincan University (Turkey), in universities of Russia and Kazakhstan, and also to pay an in-depth visit to Hebei Medical University (China).

Every year KGMA organizes and hosts guest lectures and master classes of famous professors from foreign universities. In 2018 guest lectures were given by Professor Suresh Naruka from India, Professor Segej Lim from South Korea and Professor Anapiya Patsaeva from Kazakhstan.

I.K.Akhunbaev KSMA maintains close relations with the representations of international organizations and programs such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan, the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, the Open Medical Institute OMI, the National Office of the European Union Program Erasmus +, the Kyrgyz-Swiss Project "Reforms of medical education" (MER). Within the framework of these collaborations, the project and information activities of KSMA are being implemented.

I.K. Akhunbaev KSMA is a member of the International Association of Universities and an associate member of the Consortium of Universities of Oviedo (Spain), Carolinska (Sweden) and Nicosia (Cyprus) under the Erasmus Mundus Master Program (EMMPHID).
